How we keep your documents safe

You are being asked to upload some of the most sensitive paperwork you will ever own. That deserves a straight answer about what happens to it.

Isolation between accounts

Every row of data and every stored file is protected by row-level security policies enforced at the database, not in the app. Even if a bug got past us in the interface, another account still could not read your records.

Encryption

Everything travels over HTTPS and is encrypted at rest on disk.

Where it lives

Sydney, Australia — the closest region to New Zealand. Nothing is stored in the United States.

Sign-in

You can sign in with Google or with an email link. We never store a password, because we never see one.

Deleting your data

Delete a property and its documents go with it. Delete your account and everything goes. If you would rather we did it by hand so you have a record, email hello@homestation.co.nz.
